Hi, I'm Dina!
I am a multidisciplinary designer rooted in fashion merchandising, currently living my dream.
I am a multidisciplinary designer rooted in fashion merchandising, currently living my dream.
I began my professional journey in Seoul as a fashion merchandiser for BIND, a brand targeting Gen Z and Millennials. This experience sharpened my ability to spot emerging trends and understand what truly captures people's attention. Even now, I love putting these 'Merchandiser instincts' to use through my favorite hobby: predicting which items at ZARA will go on sale!
Coming to School of Visual Arts was a deliberate step to evolve further as a creative. While I loved the fashion industry, I felt a growing desire to explore brand communication in a broader context beyond just fashion.
Also during my fashion studies, I realized I was more captivated by the branding process - such as building a narrative to connect with customers - than just solely designing the garments. Driven by my 'go-getter' personality and this passion to broaden my horizons, I moved to New York. I’m now embracing every moment of this journey as a multidisciplinary designer, creating work that connects people with the world around them.
